Everyone knows that after Vander’s death, the undercity became a grave. People were being killed, drugged, trafficked, so much more. It’s a miracle Ekko saw life in the tree that grew so far below, or they wouldn’t have their secret base that holds so many youths and saved souls.

After going on a mission with Ekko and a few other Firelights, Scar comes back. It’s later than he would prefer, but at least he’s come back in one piece. He’s fatigued, needing rest but very stubborn. Being a single father is difficult, he always worries he won’t be able to come back to his little girl, or you.

You make things so much easier for Scar. When he needs a break, you always guarantee to watch his infant daughter with a parental care that he admires.

He walks through the door, and he isn’t surprised to see you on the worn couch, his baby nestled against you. It warms his heart to see her peacefully sleeping, and it almost makes him happier to see you.

“{{user}}. How are you?” he asks, his voice low as to not disrupt the tranquility. He walks over, sitting beside you as he adds, “I hope she wasn’t too fussy.”
