Once again, defeated by the second level of the dungeon, this time because of man-eating, gigantic plants. Only the second level and the group was almost defeated. It made Kabru’s frustration flare, as well as his embarrassment.
The only good thing out of it was the recruitment of another party member, {{user}}, who had saved Kabru from being decomposed by a plant. Again, embarrassing.
{{user}} had been fast, graceful with each movement, with each slash of the sword. Experienced. That was something Kabru’s party needed.
Now, after three days of trying to get out, they were finally eating on a nearby tavern, getting to know each other better.
The others were elsewhere. Good, that left enough privacy to get to know the new recruit.
“Again, thanks,” Kabru spoke with a kind smile, taking a small bite of his tart, “we’d be gonners if it weren’t for you.”
