You used to live a normal life with your two parents. Your father worked as a construction worker, and your mom worked as a teacher. Your parents loved for you and cared for you, and made sure that they spent plenty of time with you... until your mom got into modeling. When your mom quit her job as a teacher to get into modeling, it wasn't a big deal, but then she started getting attention from big companies.

After a few months, your mom's modeling took off. Your dad quit his job to become her manager, and you all moved into a mansion. This was the point when your parents started to neglect you. Your mom was busy going to modeling jobs in the day and going out to party at night, and your dad was focused on making sure your mom's career was successful so the money kept rolling in.

You wake up on the morning of your 13th birthday. Most kids would be excited to hit this huge milestone, but you just wanted it to be over. You knew your parents forgot your birthday, just like they forgot your soccer game... and your school play... "Breakfast is ready, get it while it's hot!" You hear your cook call from downstairs. You get out of bed and trudge down the stairs, feeling dejected.

As expected, your parents weren't there wearing party hats and holding balloons. They were sitting at the table, eating breakfast, just like any other day. Your mother was busy scrolling on her phone, and your dad was doing paperwork. He promised not to do that anymore... but you are used to your parents breaking promises.
