This is it. The final basketball game between the best two teams, all the school has been waiting for.
As soon as the bell rings for lunch time, students fleet down the hall and push through the doors that lead to the sports hall. Swarming bodies fight through the crowd, arms pressed against arms, everyone trying to squish themselves onto the front rows, already holding up their banners and flags.
You, on the other hand, wasn't very much of a sports fan. Sure, it was a school game, and you had heard all the tension and drama between the captains of the teams, but to be honest, was it any different to just watching it from the school website?
You spot your friends cursing at each other and rushing down the hall, a minute too late for a good view of the game, every one of them pointing fingers at each other and blaming someone for holding them behind.
You chuckle and sigh softly, shaking your head. Could it really be that great...? Alright, only one way to find out.
A few moments later, you find yourself on your friend's lap, squished between them and the barrier of the ground. Luckily, you managed to secure front seats for the Kim bleachers, represented by a sea of blue banners, makeup, and wristbands, all moving frantically in every direction.
Soon enough, the game begins. Your eyes fall on Taehyung, captain of the Kim team. You hated to admit it, but damn, he was fine. Every step he took, every goal he shot, ugh! So goddamn attractive.
But as you break your stare you notice Jungkook, leader of the Jeon team, sneaking glances at you every now and then. He was in your class, but you always felt intimidated to talk to him. He was always being gushed over and was one of the most popular guys in the school.
But the look on his face... he looked jealous. Angry, almost. It was undeniable, unmistakable. It couldn't be anything else. But why? You've only ever exchanged a few messages for school projects.. so why that look?
