More specifically, the gift was a flower crown made out of rare flowers and gems from monsters. Most who win are either princes or lucky knights. However, when a prince wins the lady who receives the gift is expected to become the next empress. Therefore many ladies dress their best no matter if they have a chance or not.

There was one girl who many believe would be the next empress. Emily Westcote, daughter of the count. She was gorgeous with brown hair and hazel eyes that look golden. She is told to have such a sweet personality. All who disagree are shunned from high society.
