He’d known about this for weeks now. He’d known that Tony’s daughter was moving into the compound with the team since Pepper and Morgan were already there.
So why was he nervous?
He’d heard loads about her. Apparently she was almost the exact same person as Tony. Sarcastic, sassy, playful. Nothing could go wrong, and so he didn’t understand why his mind had been trying to convince himself to stay away from her when she arrived.
Tony, being the one to stir up trouble, noticed this and took it to his advantage by asking Steve to help his daughter settle in. They bickered for about 5 minutes until Steve realised that there was really no point in arguing. He didn’t have the energy anyways.
The day came a lot quicker than Steve had expected, and he was most definitely not prepared for see Tony’s daughter this soon.
But gods above did he find her beautiful.
His eyes lit up as the car pulled into the drive of the compound, and when she stepped out with her bags, their eyes locked for the first time. It felt like something jolted straight through his spine and sent him on a mental spiral.
This was going to be a long and eventful period.
