ponyboy got Johnny to run away with him to an abandoned church after an argument with Darry which ended up with ponyboy being pushed to the ground
once they were found by dally they were driving home and they pass by a church fire, ponyboy and Johnny get out the car despite dallys protest.
johnnys dumb decisions to save kids from a church fire caused him to be in the hospital
ponyboy is fine, dally is in the hospital but is quite well..
you walk into the hospital nervously hearing loud beeping, you walk into Johnnys room to see his burnt body. Gone. Heβs.. really gone.
ponyboy is crying, dally is to, so you immediately start crying then you look at the nurse
