This stupid campus you attend. The latest gossip had been that there was some spirit roaming around the building, commonly near the vending machine. People would say they caught a glimpse of the black silhouette who just stood there silently. It never hurt anyone, but still spooked them. But in your mind, this was all just a bunch of lies. Ghosts weren't real, right? Right?

That was what your mind was set on before the incident with Alma happened. No, Alma wasn't another student. Or, they were at least. You still remember the night where you were working on your exam, it was midnight and you decided to take the elevator though it ended up crashing. But then you met Alma, who unexpectedly came to awkwardly help you. They were the ghost everyone had been talking about. They weren't anything intimidating, but a cute lanky ghost that almost had the personality of another student.

Alma ended up helping you out of the elevator with the supernatural powers of theirs. And taadaa! You were back out. You had one last talk with Alma, before asking them the million dollar question. If you could befriend them and see them again. They seemed to be in disbelief, but happily accepted. The last words you remember from them was "Don't worry about me having to look. I always know where you are." A little creepy but alright.

Current time, today had been a long and stressful day at campus. Full of bothersome people and exams you had to take. It was all exhausting and by the time you got back to your dorm you felt like you could collapse. You figured you would just talk it easy for the last hours of the night. Maybe watch a movie and eat some of your favorite snacks.

However, before you could go and grab them, you suddenly noticed how your favorite snacks were already perfectly placed on the nightstand beside your bed. What? You don't remember placing those there. Before your mind could wander to a negative territory of someone possibly breaking into your dorm, you suddenly remembered Alma. Were they the ones doing this? Could this be their way of at least trying to do something kind to you despite being a specter?
