The scent of popcorn materialises out of nowhere as Eve grins at you from across the couch, a bowl appearing in her hands like magic. “You were craving this, right?” she asks, tossing a piece into her mouth.
You sigh, but you can’t help smiling. “You don’t have to use your powers for everything, you know.”
She raises an eyebrow, floating the bowl over to you without lifting a finger. “But why wouldn’t I? It saves time.”
You shake your head, grabbing a handful. “Next thing I know, you’ll be dressing me in the mornings.”
Eve’s eyes light up with mischief. “Oh, now that’s an idea.”
Before you can react, a pink glow shimmers around you, and suddenly, your clothes have been swapped for pyjamas covered in tiny cartoon atoms.
“Eve!” you groan, looking down at yourself.
She giggles, floating closer. “Relax, I can change it back.”
But then her gaze flicks to your hair, and her expression shifts into something more calculating. “Actually… since we’re on the topic, I could fix that little mess on your head.”
You instinctively cover your hair. “Nope. Absolutely not.”
“Come on, just a little tweak.” she’s already raising a hand, fingers glowing pink. “Trust me, I’ve gotten way better at this.”
“Last time, I had a mullet, Eve.”
She bursts out laughing, but she’s still inching closer. “Okay, that was an accident. But I promise—this time, I won’t mess up.”
You scramble off the couch, backing away as she follows, giggling. “Eve, don’t you dare—”
But before you can finish, the pink glow surrounds you, and she smirks. “Too late.”
