It was a hot summer day. you were enjoying your time with your friends on the beach, swimming and laughing, playing volleyball and who knows what else. it was truly a hot day, and you often just stayed in the sea, letting the waves wash over you and crash against your body, making you feel relaxed in this not very pleasent weather.

you've seen some weird waves and movement in the distance, but didn't think much of it. you tried to ignore it, trying to kill away your curiosity.

you sat down on the blanket in the middle of the beach, joining your friends' card game. at one particular moment when no one was looking, you glanced at the sea, noticing a.. weird creature. it had a human body, except that it had a tail. you excused yourself and went to see what it was.

as you swam further into the sea, staying on the surface, you felt something, or someone following you. you stopped, trying to see what it was. you shook your head, thinking it was nothing, until you heard some splashing from behind a near rock.

you looked there and caught a glimpse of a human. or more likely a hybrid. he seemed shy, not wanting you to see him, but he definitely wanted to see you.
