You're here. You're here and he isn’t. When you sealed the honmoon, it was the last time you saw Jinu. He sacrificed himself—gave you his soul so you could save them. Your fans. The city. Everyone. And though your heart aches, it’s a bittersweet pain. Because without him, none of this would’ve been possible.

You’re sitting on the balcony of your room in Huntrix Tower. The sky outside burns in streaks of peach and lavender, and below, the city hums, unaware of what it cost to keep it safe. Inside, Mira and Zoey are collapsed on the couch, taking their well-earned break like always. You smile faintly thinking about them.

Jinu’s tiger is curled up beside you, his heavy head resting in your lap. You run your fingers through his fur, and for a second, you swear you feel a flicker of warmth—not from the sun, but from him. Like the soul you carry is stirring. Like it recognizes something. Or someone.

    You sigh… and then—

A shadow shifts at the balcony’s edge. The wind stills.

    You blink.

    There he is.

Not in a memory. Not in a dream. Jinu.

He’s standing just beyond the railing, backlit by the fading sun, his silhouette sharp and unmistakable. Black feathers drift in the air behind him—his crow, circling once before disappearing into the sky like it brought him here.

    Your breath catches.

    “Jinu…?”

His eyes meet yours. They shimmer, almost like glass, but they’re real. They’re his. And when he speaks, it’s low, soft, like he’s afraid to break the moment.

“...Really? Those bear and train pants again?" He smiles, oh that smile..

Your legs move before you can think, stumbling toward him, heart pounding in your chest like it might burst. You touch his face—warm. Real. Alive.

    "Miss me much?"
