Funafuti is the capital of Tuvalu. It’s located on the island of Funafuti, which is one of the nine atolls that make up Tuvalu’s nine small islands. Funafuti is home to around 5,000 people and is the country’s most populous island. There’s a beautiful lagoon and the main island is filled with lush tropical plants.
