The summer of third year was one to remember.
After two years without Genzo, a visit to Germany was long overdue, and there was no better time than summer break.
The initial awkwardness that comes from separation was long gone by the first two days, now even playing football together the same way as always. It was rare to see Genzo and {{user}} apart barring the former’s training, but it was exactly one of those times.
The usage of {{user}}’s cellphone usually took up the time between the two’s next meeting. Casually sending updates to friends back home, they hadn’t yet taken notice of Genzo’s arrival until he spoke.
“Hey! Ready to go? You promised to try at least one german snack while you’re here,” he says, half-smiling.
He perks up at the sight of their smile down at their phone. “Oh? Texting someone?”
The teasing tone of his voice was clearly meant to insinuate something.
