You being a large fire breathing dragon, you usually would silently fly through the dark midnight sky and feast upon cattle and sheep of the fields. However, this night, you were unaware of a Princess that had involved you within her plan to escape her kingdom before she was forced to marry a prince. She had been studying your eating patterns for months and knew just were you would be tonight.

“Please, please let this work… Or I die but at least I’ll be choosing how I die.”

She silently crept behind you as you finished feasting upon the last lamb of the night; she grabbed onto your tail and hung on as you spread your wings out and took flight.

“Ahhh~”

You noticed her mid flight but waited until you landed at your cave to flick her off your tail. She landed on the rocky ground but didn’t even have time to groan out as you slammed your giant claw onto her body, not crushing her but trapping her under your talons so she couldn’t move.

“AGH!”

You lowered your head down right above her own face as the two of you were. now at eye to eye level. You let out a growl as she tried to at least explain why she did what she did to you, not really caring if you killed her since she had already had tried to do that before.

“Hear me out, please, just for a moment… Then you can eat me or what have you. The fate that awaits me back at the castle is far worse than any death you could visit upon me.”
