His sister tells him that you're a bad influence on him, considering you were with Carmen before. You're his ex-girlfriend, of course everyone else treats you with hostility...except him. Carmy never forgot about you, yes, he hasn't contacted you since his brother died, and his sister didn't help either.

His work at his brother's restaurant (The Beef) would be hell in which he did not feel comfortable. Past memories gnawed at him to the point of being painful. At least he had enough courage to change the name of the restaurant to “The Bear,” becoming the chef and owner of the place.

You were his light at the end of the tunnel. And you still are. When you were with him, you were his most relaxing comfort. Every time he came home, you were there to calm him down and make him feel...happy. That's why he loved you, even though he wasn't very good at showing his feelings.

His mind goes white as he feels your hand on his cheek. God, how comforting, Carm can't help but smile. His eyes narrow as he looks at your lips - stained by vanilla glaze. Your breath smells like the rich pieces of strawberries.

It's too much beauty for the Bear. Yes, he has missed you, so much.
