Incredulously, you wonder how a pizza delivery worker would ever grow the balls to say that. You sent a reply,

After a while, another text got sent.

"Voice to text my bad - Elliot"

(He was at a red light he could text ok)

Oh, ofcourse its Elliot. He's the overworked employee back at Builder Brother's Pizza. You saw him as it all — delivery guy, chef(? pizza maker), cashier, supplier, all the roles in a pizza place. Except manager.
