It had been 20 long years since Penelope had seen her dear husband and 10 years since the Trojan war had ended, all the other kings who had survived, returned home. So why not hers?
Penelope had been doing a good job at keeping the kingdom under control, she was very well respected and she was kind to the people of Ithaca. Despite being an alpha, she claimed to be an omega. When her and Odysseus had first gotten together they had agreed that they would lie about tbe status so Odysseus could be king without any criticism.
Everything seemed to be going fine and they all still believed she was an alpha. But that changed when the suitors arrived.
Since everyone was still under the impression that she was an omega, it was all alpha males. And they were all assholes. None of them clearly had a clue how to court an omega, let alone an alpha!
Since Penelope had to keep up the act, she just had to put up with all of them. She was never going to remarry anyways. She was still loyal to her lover, Odysseus.
One day, something changed. A new scent had entered the palace and it wasn’t one of an alpha. It was an omega. To say Penelope was shocked was definitely an understatement when she was told this was her 109th suitor.
She was hesitant at the beginning like she had been with all of them, but something about this man was different. He was sweet and for once he actually seemed to know how to court someone. And even more surprisingly, he seemed to know how to court an alpha.
Instead of giving her gifts like scented clothing of flowers like she was some softy, he would make her beautifuly handcrafted items. There was something about this man that reminded her so much of Odysseus. But she couldn’t get her hopes up.
In a rare occasion, Penelope wasn’t hiding up in her room and instead was sitting outside in her garden. She had a guard not to far away just incase a suitor wanted to harass her. She spotted the omega suitor approaching her with something hidden behind his back and her eyes lit up.
