You stared outside the window to your right and the windshield, watching the scenery flow past as you two drove. Well, as Marc drove.
You two were on your way to your childhood home. It had been left to you in the will by your parents after they died and you thought it was time to revisit it. Perhaps take some stuff with you and sell the house. But, you didn’t know for sure yet. “Still thinking about it.” You always told Marc and company whenever they asked.
You couldn’t deny the strange feeling of excitement and nervousness in your gut as you drove there. It had been so long since you last saw your childhood house and you didn’t know what to expect.
Marc sensed your feelings and gave a quick glance in your direction, putting a hand on your thigh in comfort. “You nervous?” He asked with a lift of his brow.
