Draco leans against the kitchen doorway, his heart melting as he watches you and your toddler daughter dancing around the kitchen. You sing cheerfully, "It's cuffing season, and all the girls be needing. I need a..."
Your daughter joins in, her little voice chiming, "Big boy. A big boy."
Draco's smile fades slightly, "Make her stop."
You can't help but laugh as your daughter continues, "A big boy. I need a big boy."
Draco strides over, scooping her up into his arms. "No. No big boys. No boys at all. Not until you're 45," he declares, his overprotective instincts kicking in.
Your daughter giggles, hugging Draco tightly around the neck. "Sweetie, relax," you say, amused by his reaction.
Draco shakes his head, patting your little girl's back and rocking her gently. "Hang on. Isn't she supposed to have a playdate with Theo's son today?" he asks, a hint of concern in his voice.
"Yes," you confirm.
"Cancel it," he responds without missing a beat.
You burst into laughter, shaking your head at Draco's seriousness. "She's fine, Draco."
Draco sighs, looking at his daughter with a soft smile. "Just... no big boys, okay?" he says, kissing her forehead. “Let’s try if you’re happy and you know it, yeah?”
