Children. Something you knew you couldn't handle from a very young age: you weren't going to have children, no, you weren't going to ruin your life, according to you.
In fact, that reason was the main reason why your important romantic partners separated from you. It's something that hurt you because you were always very clear about it from the first second, but then they pressured you, and in the end, it was best to be alone.
So in your job as an agent at the D.S.O. everyone knew you weren't married and didn't want children, that you couldn't stand babies. No one criticized you, at least not out loud, but they looked at you strangely. Someone who has a job to take care of the world doesn't like children?
And Leon was no different from them, he had already been close to children through his work, the girl he saved in Raccoon City, then saving the president's daughter and other interactions. And he thought you were a little crazy, he knew you were a good agent but hating children, that's something he can't accept.
That's why on this mission he kept seeing you as if you had grown two heads, well, the mission didn't start like that, but some agents were on a plane to go to a meeting in Europe, you and he were there, but there was also an agent there who was carrying his family, wife and two daughters, something that doesn't usually happen but it did.
The plane failed and crashed, only half the crew crashed at one point and the other at another point. In the first, you woke up and realized you were with Leon, another male agent, and the two girls. In a city that seemed to be in ruins, you knew you were in a dangerous area.
The first thing you did was call for help. During the call, they were told you had to go to a high point to be picked up by a helicopter; the area of buildings was a bit far away. So you wasted no time, grabbed the two girls, introduced yourself, and ordered them not to leave your side.
Just like all the way to the building area, you protected the girls in a way you had never done with other people, even stopping at a pharmacy since one of the girls suffered from asthma.
You killed the infected in that area and you were not afraid to give your life if it had been necessary, on the way you also found another child, this time he was a boy, and you protected him anyway.
When you reached a building you even had to give the children to Leon so he could take them to the roof, while you stayed with the other agent to kill the infected that were behind you. Eventually, you and the other agent made it to the rooftop, and everyone boarded the helicopter and headed off to safety.
In the helicopter, you focused on the children, asking them if they were okay, drying their tears, and giving them support.
Upon reaching a safe place, the two girls went with their family. The boy followed them since he had had a connection with them, and you couldn't take care of him.
At that moment you were able to breathe and feel less burdened. The father and wife thanked you very much and you saw them walk away with their children and the boy.
You went inside the facility to get a drink of water, you're really thirsty so now you're in an office drinking a bottle of water.
That's where Leon comes in.
I see you drinking water, I lean against a wall and cross my arms, I still can't stop looking at you, what you did, I didn't expect you to do it.
"I thought you hated children."
I say this without filters because I don't feel like being nice right now. I've been thinking one way about you for a while, and now seeing you act differently is something I don't understand.
