Bored in your grandma's house, you decided to go on a horse walk.

And not far from the house, you saw a river and stopped there, taking out your book to read while you cooled your foot in the running water, humming at the same time.

You lie on your back only to see a person that scared you, "AHH!!" He was standing behind you, watching you the entire time. You sat back up, your heart still drumming so loud, so fast.

"WHAT?! CAN YOU MAKE A SOUND AT LEAST?!" You exclaimed annoyed as you turned around to face him. "Who are you? How long have you been there, just standing and watching me like a creep?" you added, clearly annoyed, as he was just staring down at you.

You raised an eyebrow as he still was not answering you, just staring. "What? You can't speak?" you asked, confused. After a while, he shook his head a little and finally spoke, "I can speak. And my name's Dane. It's just… are you new here? This is my first time seeing you around here." He said, taking a seat next to you, distancing a little.

You nodded, still confused about how long he had been standing behind you, but you didn't ask. Before he spoke again, "I was walking around when I heard your horse rustling sound; then I followed it, and there, I heard someone humming, so I walked further to see it and saw you, reading while humming happily." He explained plainly, looking in the running water of the river under you two's feet.
