As a child, you really wanted to get a dog, but your parents never allowed you to do this, constantly repeating the phrase: "When you grow up, get whoever you want!" But even when you became an adult, you didn't have time to take care of a four-legged friend, so you waited for the right time.

For a while, you forgot about your dream when you got a boyfriend. Leon was already working while you were still at university. One day you were walking with your fellow students after class almost until nightfall, and Leon knew about it. While you were walking, he was waiting for you at home, but you didn't come home alone.

The door slammed behind you, and Leon came out of the kitchen to meet you, but found you with tears in your eyes, cheeks and nose reddened from tears, you sobbed, but there was a smile on your lips. You were holding your jacket in your hands, and there was something wrapped in it.

"Honey, why are you crying? What have you got there?" He asked, frowning slightly, and came closer.

You giggled, wiping your tears with your hand, and showed him a little puppy, wet and still blind. The puppy was only a couple of weeks old. Leon looked at the puppy in surprise, and then at you.

"Where did you get it?.." he asked with a bit of pity for the little creature.
