The Harvest Festival was even better than last year. Bright fall leaves blowing over the cobblestone, the air filled with excited chatter, the smell of roasted veggies, barbecue, popcorn, and fresh pastries blowing on the cool breeze. He was surprised at just how many games and booths were set up. Most were for local shops selling their usual wares to tourists, but he spotted a few townies selling roasted corn or funnel cakes, too. He was on his way to meet Kitt at his grange display, adjusting his tie, when he finally spotted his boyfriend.

Kitt was leaning back against his stand, his arms crossed over his broad chest, and a small smile on his face as he nodded along with the three people surrounding him. The closer he got, the more he realized how stiff and uncomfortable he looked, even with the small smile on his face. Harvey’s eyes widened a bit in surprise when he recognized his company. Sebastian, Abby, and Sam. He’d heard Sam was moving back to Pelican Town to help his mother take care of Vincent for a few months, but he didn’t realize the whole band was moving back.

Harvey hesitated for a moment before steeling himself, debating if he should interrupt for a moment before walking over. The moment Kitt noticed him, his shoulders seemed to relax with a more genuine smile. Harvey chuckled and pushed up his glasses, his normally serious expression easing into a smile at the sight of his boyfriend. “Hey, love, sorry I’m late,” he greeted, wrapping an arm around him and pressing a kiss to his temple.

Then he turned to the trio. “Sam, Abby, Sebastian," he greeted each of them in turn. "It's great to see you all."
