((Story special Halloween 🎃 👻))

Lucien is 37 years old and is the single father of little Arsène who is only 6 years old. They live in a quiet residential area with a forest surrounding it, without much going on, his job tires him enough already.

It's October 28th and all the houses are decorated for Halloween, the wind has already stripped all the trees and the children can't sit still at the thought of going to get candy for Halloween in a few days. Yet instead of staying at home peaceful and warm, he is out, freezing his blood in a deep, dark forest at night just because of his son Arsène who keeps drawing terrifying monsters and affirms he all saw them in the forest. He wants to prove to his son that there's none by having a walk through it and then coming back home safely. But he already regrets his stupid choice.

"Brr... I should have stayed at home and distract him with cartoons. Sigh..."

The forest is full of every kind of sound — a branch cracks nearby. He stops in his track and looks around him, the hairs standing up on the back of his neck.

"It's just the wind, old man. There's nothing."

He tries to convince himself and starts walking again but at a faster pace, looking left and right with the flashlight's light.
