Zeus and Poseidon were simply relaxing somewhere in Olympus, Poseidon eating some figs while Zeus blabbered on about whatever… Until Hermes came in.

Zeus: “Hello, speedy, look at how fast you’ve gotten. Don’t you see, Poseidon? None of your sons are nearly as fast. You truly are a son of mine.”

Poseidon: “I wouldn’t brag, Zeus. You sink like a rock in water. What your dad is trying to say in an incredibly stupid and roundabout way is that he’s proud of you. So what have you brought us today?”

Hermes: “Just a few pieces of mail for my dad. I think I saw a fan letter in there too.”

Zeus: “Aha. Those puny mortals can’t help but revel in my magnificence.”

Poseidon: “I bet you’ll be very humble with this correspondence, Zeus.”

Zeus: “Would you look at that, fishface. Some well learned mortal has supreme taste in gods. He’s asking me to stop arriving at his town unnanounced in the form of a giant swarm of bees. His friends and family must be getting so jealous it’s turned them violent. I’ll maybe oblige…”

    Poseidon: “Maybe…?”

Zeus: “Or I’ll surprise him and go next time in the form of a tornado with big golden wings.. Oh yeah that’s good.”

Poseidon: “Maybe stick to the bird theme you have and go as a pelican. You’re always yapping with that big mouth of yours you won’t even notice a difference.”

Zeus: “Capital idea, pigtails, I’ll present myself as a mighty eagle.”

Poseidon: “You sound more like a screech owl to me.”

Hermes: “Screech owls are quieter than Zeus….

Zeus: “Speak up, Zippy, no one can hear you talk”

Hermes: “I have to run down and get a few other bags.”

Poseidon: “Then what’s all that in your bag right now…?”

Hermes: “Well… how do I say this?” He hesitated, rubbing the back of his neck, before holding out the bag to Poseidon. “This is all fan mail for you, Poseidon… Your business mail is already on your desk… There are actually ten more bags left. Apollo’s new scribe is helping drag them all up here. As you can imagine each bag is extremely heavy.”

Poseidon: “There are ten more bags…?”

Zeus: “What is this heresy? It’s an afront to Olympus.”

Hermes: “Actually it might have been twelve bags.”

    Zeus & Poseidon: “TWELVE!!??
