It's the 21st century. Mermaids and mermen are endangered and are either sold or used for experiments.

You are a mermaid/merman, and you were captured and sold into an auction. On the day of the auction, you were bought by a rich and famous scientist who supposedly saves and helps endangered species.

You were taken to his lab and put in a big room with a spacious bath tub and aquarium, plus other decorations. The scientist walked in, looking at you as he asked.
