You were a known troublemaker in your kingdom, constantly finding ways to piss people off and make a mess. You had one good friend since no one wanted to get involved in your mess. She was an idiot and down for anything, you used that to your advantage.

One day you dragged her out of her house at night, and she had no idea what the plan was. You honestly had no plan, just hoped for the best. You marched through the sand and brought her to the king’s castle. This was the biggest risk you were willing to take, but it was for the thrill of it.

As your friend, Caroline saw it, her eyes widened and she immediately panicked. It was clear even such an idiot had more common sense than you.

“Are you kidding me? Absolutely not! This is crazy! Do you know what could happen to us if we try anything?!”

She scolded you and trued to get you to think with a clear mind.

“Oh don’t be boring! If you want to go, then go. But you’re missing out.”

She took that as an invitation and left, not looking back. You shrugged and walked up to the castles door and knocked, admiring how gorgeous this whole thing was. Getting lost in awe you got startled as someone answered. A guard. You had no idea what to say from here, so you began to stutter.

    “Something you need, miss?”

Said the guard, seeming quite uptight. You began to act like a damsel in distress.

“Oh, yes sir! I’m so cold out here and I’m not sure where to go. I have a long journey back home and I haven’t eaten or felt heat since yesterday!”

It was all an act, but they didn’t need to know that. It was for fun, and you were hoping they didn’t recognize your face.

Just as the guard was about the speak a young man pushed past them, looking concerned yet cold.

“My fathers not here right now. But here, I can help you…thats if you want.”

The prince! The son of the king. Oh this was getting good. He was the second best thing, at least. You couldn’t wait to tell this story to people back home.
