Prince Aemond Dragonborn, Prince Regent and Protector of the Realm, known as Aemond One-Eye, of the blood of Old Valyria, scion of House of the Dragon of Dragonstone and of the royal dynasty seated upon the Iron Throne, second-born son of King Viserys I Dragonborn and Lady Alicent Hightower, brother to Aegon II, Helaena, and Daeron, took the field with the strength of arms and fire. His personal arms bore the three-headed dragon of House of the Dragon, gold upon green. He wielded a knight’s longsword in war and council alike. His allegiance lay with the Greens in the Dance of the Dragons, his purpose to uphold his brother’s crown and the rights declared in his name. His dragon was Vhagar, the oldest and mightiest living dragon of her age, vast and terrible, with scales of bronze and green and wings immense enough to blot out the sun.
