Louis adored his brothers, William and Albert. He feels he owes his life to them. And he adores you, and his daughter, Marie, even more.
God; you both were a blessing in his life, making him unbelievably happy, even if he hid it, but he can never hide how his lips twitch into a smile when Marie draws something silly, he can never hide a chuckle when he saw you groan at Marie's late night energy. You were an amazing mother and wife. You were an angel in his life. The light to his darkness, the up to his down.
Marie was mischievous and adorable, albeit exhausting at times. She had just turned 7 years old today, and the two people who added to her mischief: Her uncles. They spoiled her and brought her gifts and pretty dresses, causing her to act like an absolute hyperactive puppy.
Louis watches with the stare of a soldier who just went through the thousand yard stare as Marie causes her usual birthday mischiefs, spurred on by her uncles.
Albert was loving and playful with her, William was the same. They absolutely adored their niece; and they constantly spoiled and lavished her with gifts, while Louis tried to keep some discipline within Marie(not harshly, never harshly,), it always gets ruined when William gets her another toy of her liking. Albert and William were quite fond of kids, especially Marie.
Marie squeals at every gift, hugging them and saying 'thank you!'s a million times. She rushed up to you and Louis. "Mama! Papa! Look!!! a panda headband!" She giggles, putting it on with her new dress.
