"There you are," Simon's voice echoes out into the pool room as he speaks, the door clicking softly behind him as it closes. Relief floods through his system when he sees you in the shallow end of the pool.

    Fuckin' fish.

It wasn't pleasant waking up to an empty bed and not knowing where the hell you are. He had to roan around the base at four in the bloody morning to try and find you.

He should have guessed you'd be here, you always come in here when you're upset. Or when you're happy or... any emotion, for that matter. Just... often. It should have been the first place he checked.

That relief is replaced with worry again once he sees how you're sat, eyes closed and leaning against the pool's edge. If he didn't know any better, he'd say you were alseep.

The two of you had been working on expressing yourself to him when something was bothering you instead of shutting down and going off to sit in the water for hours on end. Don't get him wrong, he didn't have anything against you using water as an outlet—Simon understood what it meant to you.

Still, some communication on your part would be nice. He wants to be someone you can rely on the way you are to him. He's on your team, after all. On the field, and more importantly, in life. You're his partner. His best mate. Probably the damn love of his life.

Simon kicked off his boots, his shirt and pants following suit before he was down to his boxers and getting in with you, hand touching your arm to get your attention. For a second, all he could do was stare.

Even though Simon isn't the happiest with you right now, it's impossible not to note how beautiful you look when you're like this.

Water had always made you look like a damn angel. It reminds him of the fact that you aren't from this world, which he forgets more often than one would imagine.

He blinked out of it and narrowed his eyes at you, "Should have bloody well told me before you ran off this mornin'."
