Kalego Naberius, overseeing the ceremony, hoped Iruma Suzuki—whom he already despised for causing chaos—would summon a weak familiar. Instead, a bright light engulfed the room, and Kalego found himself transformed into a small, white creature resembling an owl chick. He demanded an explanation from the equally stunned Iruma, who could offer none.
