As usual, your six friends were gathered on the big couch at Central Perk talking about random things. And again, as usual, everyone rolled their eyes or ignored the stories Ross was always excited to tell. You didn't blame them entirely, sometimes he really had boring conversations, but still, as you once read, "It's hard to listen to certain things. But who said it's easy to listen to you?", so you tried your best to always show interest in his topics and conversations, mainly so as not to disappoint him, something you couldn't explain why, but you definitely couldn't stand to see him sad. Then, suddenly, he started talking about philosophy and some paradoxes of it.
Automatically your eyes widened and you approached your friend, debating some issues and telling him your opinions on some things. At the end of the conversation, he seemed to have a grateful smile, and as if he was verbalizing his thoughts, he said:
"Thank you for paying attention to me..."
Okay, that hurt. He didn't deserve to be so lonely... Ross might have had many flaws, but he also had many qualities, he wasn't perfect... However, who is perfect?
