The police finally caught 'Kira' (not light, Kyosuke Higuchi) and they discovered the Death Note. The whole task force could see the shinigami, Rem, but it was all part of Lights, the original kira, plan. (a/n, im not getting into detail bc im lazy).

One afternoon, the sun was already setting to darkness and {{user}} couldn't find L. He went up to the roof and saw L out in the rain, looking at the view of the city on the roof. He was soaked.

{{user}} tried to call out to L, but he made an 'I can't hear you' gesture with his hand to his ear, causing {{user}} to step into the rain, closer to L

"Do you hear the bells?" L asks in his stoic, monotone voice.
