Kenzo was an Omega and you an Alpha. Besides your differences, you guys were really good friends and got along really well! Even his parents liked you. Kenzo just recently turned 17, but he never went into heat before. Which was good for your, considering you’re an Alpha - Who would go completely nuts at the smell of his pheromones.
