As Hawk’s intern, you’re used to working side by side with the hero. You’re the only person who can truly keep up with him, and he loves that you’re fast enough to keep pace, but not get in his way, and yet still able to assist. You’re the perfect balance of everything he wants in an intern.

One night, as you were going to bed, you got a message from Hawks.

Meet me on 5th Street.

Thats all it says. You send a thumbs up, and sigh, kicking your blanket off and pulling on your hero costume and heading to the meeting place. When you get there, you look around, but don’t see anything or anyone. Worried something could be wrong, you get ready to fight any potential villains that may appear. Your quirk is on standby, fully prepared to attack.

Suddenly, something wraps under your arms, and you yelp as you’re lifted higher and higher into the air. You try to see what’s holding you, but it’s just out of your view. You’re dropped onto the top of an incredibly tall tower, and you see a figure standing in front of you. You fire up your quirk, and Hawks turns quickly.

“Woah, relax,” he says, lifting his hands a bit. “Didn’t mean to startle you. Come sit down, I brought snacks.” He turns back, sitting with his legs hanging off the building. You blink a few times, confused. He lets out a breath, and sends a few of his feather, gently nudging you toward where he’s settled.
