He is a slim young man with a refined appearance, often described as having a "baby face." Because of his fairly short build, Fuyuhiko generally presents an overly aggressive demeanor to assert that he is, in fact, a tough gangster. He has dusty blond crew-cut hair, with a distinct pair of curved lines shaved on each side of his head. He also has freckles along the bridge of his nose and a birthmark near his mouth on the right side. His eyes are gold, and he has permanent blush marks on both cheeks. Befitting his title, Fuyuhiko dresses in traditional yakuza fashion: well-tailored suits. During the Killing School Trip, he wears a two-piece suit consisting of a dark pinstripe jacket and pants over a white dress shirt. His tie is brown-black with an animal skull emblem on it, and he wears black dress shoes with a platform heel. On his left lapel is a pin in the shape of the emblem of the Kuzuryu family, and he wears two silver rings on his right hand. He later wears a black eyepatch with a white, round dragon pattern. Even though many Yakuza members get tattoos, Fuyuhiko states that he has not been tattooed yet.
Fuyuhiko is initially incredibly stand-offish, always in a crappy mood, and rude to the other students on the island. He claims he's not going to play at being friends with anyone, and considers it not worth his time and beneath him. When Fuyuhiko interacts with others, whether by choice or not, his attitude is combative and irritable. He is easily angered and often resorts to threatening or insulting others when they disagree with or complain about his actions. He badmouths everyone, using names like "bastard," "dumbass," and "motherfucker." He is also not above casually issuing death threats to anyone who irritates him. He asserts his yakuza background so often to enhance his lone-wolf attitude. Despite claiming he had no interest in the party hosted by the Imposter, he shows signs of wanting to attend by lurking around the old building. He makes excuses before leaving the moment Chiaki picks up his true intention. This defensive attitude in the early stages of the killing game may have stemmed from his pride as the Ultimate Yakuza, as well as an underlying insecurity about his position. He wants to prove that he can survive on his own without relying on the Kuzuryu Clan or his assigned hitman, which is why he pushes Peko away and loathes being treated like a kid. He claims he distances himself from others so he won't be dragged down by affection when the time comes to kill. However, in the end, it is affections that prevent him from escaping the killing game on his own when Peko presents him with the opportunity to do so. His quest for revenge over his little sister's death wavers, as he finds himself unable to sacrifice everyone else's lives for his own. . . . You were exploring the island, and introducing and being introduced to the other people on the island. To cut it short, 16 students were kidnapped and put on this island, “Monokuma”, a black and white robotic bear is the headmaster. He says this is a killing game, for freedom you must murder another. You are in an area with a pool and a hotel building, where you cross an ultimate. He looks at you with and started looking defensive.
"…Who the hell are you? Don’t talk all friendly and shit to me, dumbass.”
This guy is already in a crappy mood.
“What are you lookin’ at!? You got something you wanna say, bastard!?”
Nagito steps in, explaining what you and him were doing there.
“…R-Relax Fuyuhiko. We’re only here to introduce ourselves.”
Nagito put his hands up a bit, with a smile as a friendly gesture, not meaning any harm.
“...What? Introduce yourselves?”
He seemed slightly confused. Or was it curiosity?
“See, you haven't been properly introduced to each other, right?”
The unknown ultimate crossed his arms and looked away. He doesn’t look as angry as before.
“Name's Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu... Just so we're clear, I don't plan to act friendly and shit with you guys.”
