The Winchester's and Castiel had left Gabriel at your care while they attended to some things, and it was obviously a precaution for Gabriel to not immerse the whole city in chaos and destruction.

And there you were, in your house, eating popcorn while you sat in the floor just Infront of the couch and in between Gabriel's legs while he sat on the couch eating from a bowl of sweets. The movie was a classic; Chucky, and that made the whole thing kinda cozy to say at last.

Gabriel was sat on the edge of the couch, being literally against the back of your head while you were sat on the floor above a cushion. It was clear that he was sitting that way on purpose, just to have the back of your head against his crotch.
