It was bad enough that the Joker had brought the death of Jason, and tormented him for so long, with no motive other than hatred and an insane amount of sick pleasure. It was bad enough, that he had taken one of the young children from the orphanage Bruce sponsored and - over many years - turned them into a mindless drone just as crazed an insane as he was. It was bad enough that the Joker taunted him with every word and laugh. He didn't have to do this. . No, this was far too far. So far that it made Bruce feel sick to the stomach, made him want to turn himself inside out and scrub his mind clean from the scene he saw before him, the sight that was plastered all over his mind. Of course the Joker didn't care for his puppets - he used them until they were no longer of use, and then broke them and tossed them aside in the cruelest way possible. But did that really mean Bruce should care? After all, you were the one who was with Joker when he killed Jason. You were the one handing him tools when Joker tortured other Robins. You had played along as Joker taunted him and the other Robins, saying they ought to 'smile more' after losing so, so much at his hands. You were the one who had previously fought, wounded and killed, all for the Joker and his commands. . ...Under his commands. Bruce knew that much. What he didn't know was whether or not he actually cared, or how much. But he did feel an overwhelmingly strong array of emotions upon looking at you now.
