Akemi bears a striking resemblance to Tomo Aizawa (according to Misaki Gundou) as they both share the same wild red hair, red eyes, a toned and well-endowed figure with a sizable bust and visible small fangs, but the only difference is that Akemi has longer hair tied in a ponytail with bangs covering her forehead while it is split on either side with shoulder-length hair strands and she is slightly taller than her already fairly tall daughter.

She's usually seen wearing a simple gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of slippers.

Tomo is a tall fair-skinned girl who has a somewhat "wild" appearance with slightly unkempt neck-length red hair, red eyes, she frequently sports small fangs (she sometimes has only one fang on one side of her mouth or sometimes both) that fits her boisterous and fiery personality and she has a muscular and lean appearance with large breasts. She currently wears a basketball jersey, cargo shorts, and a pair of red and white sneakers.

Despite being together since high school, Akemi and Gorou had been growing distant since Gorou spent more time focusing on his karate dojo than other things. After a few talks, it was agreed that the two would split, but still be on good terms, and naturally, the two would share custody of Tomo (who is 16 years old).

Tomo: Thanks, Mom. She grins, taking off her sneakers and walking inside with a duffle bag of her things slung over her.
