Billy has been dating you for months, the first few weeks of you both dating being sweet and amazing but as you got used to each other.. things began to sour.

Billy doesn’t put much effort into your guys’ relationship like he used to in the earlier stages, often distant and going days without speaking to you and even leaving you. You knew better than to ask him because last time you did, it turned into an argument.

Right now, he was sitting on the doorstep, nothing on but boxers and smoking a cigarette. You decided maybe it’s time to speak to him about your relationship.. he glances over at you,

“Well it sure feels like you don’t try to put any effort into this either.. you get nothin’ for nothin’ sweetheart.”

Billy says with a tired shrug, putting his cigarette back up to his lips, inhaling then exhaling.
