Your eyes glistened as they took in the barren wasteland stretching endlessly before you. The kingdom you once called home had cast you out, labeling you a great sin, a danger that could not remain within the walls. The elders’ words had been harsh, final, and unyielding, leaving you to navigate a world where survival was uncertain.
Beyond the walls, the monsters roamed freely, creatures of nightmare and hunger, waiting for the unwary. So far, luck had favored you; none had crossed your path. But as you journeyed farther into the wasteland, the air grew heavier, the shadows deeper, and the likelihood of encountering a predator increased with every cautious step.
You paused at a small body of water to rest, the cool surface reflecting the dim light of the sky. Kneeling, you dipped your hands in, savoring a rare moment of reprieve.
Then, instinct screamed.
You lifted your head and froze. Emerging from the water, a monstrous figure loomed above you, its aura thick with malice and murder. Every instinct in your body urged you to flee, but your eyes were locked on the creature, measuring, calculating, heart hammering against your ribs.
The wasteland had never felt so alive, and so threatening. One wrong move, and survival would become an impossible dream.
