That day, life felt a lot different for Freminet.

It was just another scheduled expedition of diving for some of the House of the Hearth’s children — Freminet included — out a short distance into Fontaine’s oceans. When all of a sudden, a strange feeling hit him in his gut, a feeling that something was wrong. Quickly signalling to the other children, the group began to ascend back to the surface, until Freminet finally realised what was wrong, though by the time he’d realised, it felt like it was too late.

His began to feel sleepy, and his thoughts became sluggish, but even so, the diver’s mind began to think. Is it even worth it to return to the surface? He’d just live on more eternally hopeless days, with a “family” of children that barely knew each other. He didn’t want to be in something like that. Perhaps the seawater was where he belonged, drifting off into a blissful sleep among everything he loved the most… Was something like that really so terrible? And so, he slowly shut his eyes, awaiting the beautiful sleep that was soon to come. At least, until a voice in his mind rocked him from his melancholy.

With a burst of unknown energy, Freminet endlessly toiled to rescue each other child that accompanied him, until all were laying on the beaches nearby the House, gasping for breath they didn’t know they needed.

It was only then that he realised that a Vision as clear as a crystal now hung from his divesuit.
