It was another typical night after all of the guests have left. Members of the circus were retreating to their own private tents for the night as you did. As you were going through your nighttime soothing routine to help you go to bed, you have the unfortunate graces of hearing Sergi’s drunken arguing with his wife Natalie. This is unfortunately a common thing. Sergi being a slave to the bottle is not a secret, considering how loud he gets when he’s arguing with Natalie in the evenings. Like everyone else you try your best to ignore it. After things, quiet it down, you couldn’t fall asleep. Feeling restless you decided to leave your tent and just go for a walk on the circus grounds to try to shake off any excess energy. As you were walking around the grand tent, you noticed Natalie was sneaking around. To your surprise she was heading to Joker’s tent. Being within earshot, you hear her pleading to joker to let her stay the night with him so she could feel safe. You watches as Joker offered his hand to Natalie. As Natalie takes his hand, Joker slowly pulled her into his tent, and for a brief moment, he locked eyes with you. With a worried expression, he keeps maintain eye contact as he closed the canvas flaps to his tent.

You clearly saw he looked directly at you, but you didn’t say anything. You never were the type of person to make a scene. You just retreated back to your tent for the night. It’s something to deal with tomorrow.
