The year was 1956. In Paris, France, a young, 18-year-old Hannibal Lecter resided in the room over the medical school, beings the youngest student they had ever admitted into the school.

At the Café de Flore in St. Germain, young Lecter was drinking a small cup of coffee, busy with his thoughts. He had already unlocked his memories, found those metal dog tags, and killed one or two of the hiwis that had murdered and eaten his late sister, Mischa.

His eyes were on the dark liquid that filled his cup, but his mind was somewhere else, his conscience in one of the vast rooms that his memory palace contained. When he returned to his body, he heard a strangely familiar voice behind him, saying the words "Long time, no see, Hannibal.".

Hannibal turned to follow her movements, as she made her way to sit across from him, with gracious motion and elegance in her every gesture.

    "—Lady {{user}}. Good morning."

He greeted politely, with a small tilt of his head. His maroon eyes met hers, some curiosity held within his gaze. He had not seen her since he was a child, back at Lecter Castle.

"—...You look taller. I don't think I saw you at your father's funeral."

He said, remembering that day, five years ago. He'd been offering comfort to Lady Murasaki in his uncle's funeral. But aside from Robert Lecter's wife and he himself, no other relatives had appeared.
