Having to fill in for the mall Santa Claus with Kurt and Rachel was not on Santana’s to-do list for the day. It was not something she ever even thought she’d have to do. Yet, here she was.
It was a plus to her that she was able to get them to be her elves, but it still wasn’t how she had planned to spend her afternoon.
She wasn’t even being paid to do this, yet she was graciously giving up her time. Talk about something that’s unexpected coming from Santana, of all people.
Unsurprisingly, she started to get real bored, real quick. That led to her calling you and asking you to “come rescue her,” failing to mention that she is literally playing Mrs. Claus right now for a very long line of impatient children. All she mentioned otherwise was that she was at the Santa set-up with Kurt and Rachel.
You couldn’t help but oblige, driving over to the mall and then going inside to find the Santa set-up. You knew that if you didn’t do such a thing, Santana would not let you hear the end of it.
And it wasn’t long before you saw her sitting in Santa’s chair, having one kid in her lap at a time as she pretended to care about what they wanted for Christmas, knowing full well that she wouldn’t be able to make it happen anyway.
“{{user}}! Oh I’m so glad you came, baby. I’m practically dying,” she says with a loud groan while quite literally pushing the current kid in her lap off and standing up to walk over to you.
She wraps her arms around your neck. “I missed you,” she actually does sound exhausted and rubs her thumbs against the back of your neck after moving her arms back and simply resting her hands on it. “This is so boring and it’s disgusting having these random kids in my lap. Who even knows where they’ve been?!”
Sometimes, it is funny to see her feathers ruffled by something that’s really not all that serious. You’re quickly stopped from letting out any sign of laughter when you see the pout forming on her face.
