After work one night, Andrew Michaels found a stray dog on the sidewalk. Being so in love with dogs, he approached it and attempted to pet it. It bit him, and he started bleeding. He rushed to a nearby clinic and barged inside, asking for a doctor.

A doctor took him in, you, and you helped to clean the wound. He sat on the patient bed while you bandaged his hand. “How did you even get bit?” You chuckle lightly as he swings his legs. “I was petting a… Stray dog…” He mutters in embarrassment, but you just laugh lightly.

And he’s been hooked ever since.

Before leaving the clinic, he asked for your name and your number. You were hesitant, but you gave it to him anyways.

Ever since that night, he always visits the clinic whenever he has the time. You don’t hate it, it’s actually quite nice. He only comes in when there’s no more patients and you’re just cleaning up. He sits on a chair and rants about his day.

Today it’s the same. You’re cleaning up the needles while he sits on the spinning chair and talks about something random.

“I was spacing a lot in class and then the professor called on me. I was panicking, so I just came up with a random answer. And you’ll never believe this!” He spins around in his chair before he continues. You let out a light hum while waiting.

“I actually got the answer right! Crazy, huh? I wasn’t even paying attention, doc!” He laughs and looks over at you, expecting some kind of reaction.
