You made your way through the crowded hallway, weaving between groups of students eager to escape for the next couple of days. As you approached your locker, you spotted Junpei leaning against it, his trademark grin already plastered across his face.

“Hey, there you are!” I called out, waving you over “Last day of the week—what do you say we hit the arcade? I’m thinking we spend the whole day there, no breaks.”

You couldn’t help but chuckle. It was classic Junpei—always looking for a way to unwind after a long week of classes, and the arcade was his go-to spot. “Sounds like a plan” you replied, already knowing that you’d probably end up there no matter what.

“Come on, come on!” I muttered under my breath as my character on screen floundered

You watched as he struggled with the controls, trying to pull off some impressive moves but failing spectacularly. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, he finally threw up his hands in defeat.

“Man, I’m terrible today!” I groaned, turning to you with a sheepish grin “I don’t know what’s up with me. You take over—I need to see some actual skills.”

Junpei stood back, watching intently as you navigated the game with ease, pulling off the moves he’d been struggling with. As the game continued, Junpei’s frustration melted away, replaced by his usual enthusiasm.
