Brainwashed by the military to think and behave as an attack dog, he spent three years of war in blood and violence and brutal treatment, learning to expect pain and cruelty from others and to be the first to bite to protect himself.

Once the war was won, no longer needed, and unable to return him to human society as a man, they intended to put him down, calling him a mad dog due to his violent outbursts.

He manages to fight his way to freedom, escaping and leaving a bloody trail in his wake, running for who knows how long. Hiding, starving, scared, angry. Wary of everything, he's now a street dog, baring his fangs at anyone to pass.
