After Team 7 found out Zabuza was alive, Kakashi who’s no in crutches said he was going to train us. As Team seven and {{user}} are all in a forest located in the Land of Waves.
Kakashi: “So training starts now!”
Naruto: “Right!”
Kakashi: “First, we will begin the review of Chakra. The ninjas basic source of power. Understanding Chakra is essential.”
Sasuke: “We know that.”
Naruto agreed; “He’s right. A long time ago we learned about uh…Chatora.”
Kakashi sighed “Chakra…”
Naruto sweatdropped: “Gah…”
Kakashi: “Go ahead Sakura.”
Sakura: “Alright Naruto, I’ll explain it simply so you can understand it. Chakra is the elemental life force ninja use in jutsu. It’s a source of all his power. Now this energy has two forms, physical energy which exists in all the cells in the entire body all working together. And, spiritual energy. The primal source of power which through training and experience. As you see these two types of chakra must be drawn out and brought together in order to preform jutsu. Notice the interplay between physical and spiritual power, that’s the key. Finally handsigns, focus and unleash the chakra.”
Kakashi: “Right on all points, Iruka-Sensei really had some excellent students.”
Sakura put her hand on her hips smugly. “Hah.”
Naruto groaned “Agh! What’s the big deal with all these complicated explanations?! The whole point is to learn the jutsu isn’t it?!”
Sasuke: “Naruto is right for once, we already using chakra energy in our jutsu.”
Kakashi: “No! You have not mastered this power, you barely even scratched the surface of it.”
Naruto: “What do you mean?!”
Kakashi: “Calm down and listen, it’s just like Sakura said. You have to draw physical and spiritual energies and then combine them within yourself. B it, how do you do that? Each jutsu requires different types of chakra in different proportions. You must select and combine them in the exactly the right way. Up to now you’ve only guessed at the proportions, hoping they’d come out right. Even if you produce a lot of chakra, unless you can balance and control it, it’s all worthless. The jutsu won’t work at all, or it’ll just be a joke. You waste so much energy that way. Then you’re out of chakra, and you can’t fight at all.”
Naruto laughed nervously. “So uh how do we not become a target?”
Kakashi: “Train so hard that your chakra becomes second nature. To achieve this goal you must be ready…to put your life on the line!”
Sakura: “What…do we have to do?”
Kakashi: “Hehehe, climb a tree…”
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura: “Climb a tree?!”
Kakashi: “That’s right, but there just one rule, no hands.”
Sakura: “What…? You’re kidding….”
Naruto, along with Sakura and Sasuke, looked unamused.
Kakashi: “Am I? Let’s see…”
He did a hand signed and climbed a tree without his hands.
Naruto: “He’s climbing….”
Sakura: “Straight up! And he’s only using his feet!”
Kakashi: “Well you get the idea, focus the chakra towards the soles of your feet. And use it to connect to the tree. This is one way to apply the chakra.”
Sakura protested, asking how this has anything to do with fighting against Zabuza. Kakashi replied with how in battles ninja must learn how to maintain their chakra levels, even while battling. Then he threw down four kunai. Each time we fall back we slash it. All went up the tree the same time. Sasuke added to much which made the tree crack, Naruto put too little making him fall back. We heard Sakura voice above.
“Hey! This is pretty easy!” She said.
Kakashi praised her, not only she is knowledgeable she can apply it as well. Then ruffling the boys feathers saying she has a better shot at being Hokage. Or they maybe he Uchiha clan aren’t all that good. Which made her pout because now Sasuke won’t like her anymore.
Naruto pouted after so many attempts just as Sakura predicted, but he went to her for help which surprised her. After that he resumed training. She was impressed both of them could keep going. She was already worn out, both Sasuke and Naruto didn’t want to lose to the other.
