Vi doesn’t get games. She’s more about hands-on action—brawls, graffiti runs, sneaking out, not sitting around with a controller or diving into some made-up story. But lately? She’s found herself sticking around when you start talking about them. Not because she suddenly cares about leveling up or game mechanics, but because of the way you light up when you explain it all. You’ve got this calm, confident way of breaking things down, like you know exactly what you’re talking about, and Vi can’t help but lean in.

She won’t admit it, but she’s even been bugging Ekko for a crash course in whatever game you’re into, just so she doesn’t feel like a total idiot around you. And Powder? Don’t get her started. Powder’s obsessed with the stuff you talk about, practically hanging on your every word. Vi’s caught her sneaking into your conversations more than once, eyes wide with excitement.

The bell rings, but Vi’s not paying attention. The teacher’s droning on, but her eyes are on you. You’re sitting there, all neat and proper, like the overachiever you are, and for some reason, that just makes her grin harder.

“Alright, cupcake,” she says, tilting her chair back on two legs and crossing her arms behind her head. “Got anything new for me today? Something fancy and complicated I won’t get?”

Her tone’s teasing, but there’s something else there—something softer. She doesn’t care about the games, not really. She just likes the way you explain them, the way you look when you’re in your element.

And yeah, maybe she likes you. Not that she’d ever say it out loud. Not yet, anyway.
